Dr. Radhakrishna started this practice in 1980 after completing 2 years Residency in Pediatrics at UMDNJ and 1 year of Special Training in Pediatric ICU and Infectious Diseases in Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Her academic career has been remarkable with gold medals, distinctions and the highest rank from a prestigious medical school in South India. She also obtained her postgraduate degree in Pediatrics from India after 3 years of rigorous training in various aspects of child health and sickness. She has totally dedicated herself to her pediatric practice, touching thousands of lives in her career of four distinguished decades. She also serves as Professor of Pediatrics at RWJH Medical School, actively teaching MA, PA, NP, Pre-Med and Medical Students, as well as Pediatric residents from several residency programs.
She has also shown her leadership qualities by very efficiently running two modern pediatric offices, serving as a department chairman for Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center and JFK Medical Center, as well as serving on numerous hospital committees, including NJ Chapter of AAP. She has presented several interesting clinical cases for various teaching rounds. For her, LIFE is all about children’s wellbeing from Newborns to 21 Years of Age. She is also very passionate about tennis, Western Ballroom Dance, Piano and Kamatak Music. Her special interests include taking care of Premature Babies, Patients with ADHD, Obesity and Asthma. She had been well versed in several Indian languages, & of late Spanish. She is portrayed as a life-long learner in Robert Wood Johnson Hospital’s Yearly Magazine and NJ Top Pediatrician. She has several teaching awards from both New Brunswick University Hospitals, Drexel, Monmouth & Pace Universities. She has two accomplished children. Her son, Suhas Radhakrishna is a graduate of Harvard Medical School, and currently a practicing pediatric rheumatologist in San Diego, California. Her daughter, Sripriya Prince, is a graduate of Columbia University and is a doctor of physical therapy in Denver. Dr. Radhakrishna is also enjoying being a grandmother of four beautiful children, who add fun to her passion for pediatrics.
Dr. Lovely Matthew is a senior associate of our practice for 16 years. She has completed her medical school from Catholic University in Lille France and Internship Pediatric Residency from Henryford Health System at Detroit, Michigan. Well versed in French, Malayalam, she is very caring, compassionate, dedicated and disciplined. She is a board certified Pediatrician who has contributed a great deal to the success of the practice at both locations.
Dr. Amy Mehta Shah joined Dr. Radhakrishna’s practice in 2012. She feels strong ties to the Central New Jersey community as she grew up in Edison Township. Dr. Shah’s curiosity about pediatrics began at a young age as she shadowed her father, a pediatrician, in his home office. She earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). While at PCOM, she was the co-president of the school’s American Medical Women’s Association. Dr. Shah completed her pediatric training from the Bristol-Meyer’s Squibb Children’s Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Mercy Urgino, MD Compassionate Doctoring and Caring Award. Not only is she a very personable, charming doctor who will address all of your concerns regarding your child’s health, she is also well-versed in Gujarati.
He is a Pediatric Rheumatologist starting private practice on May 15, 2021 in central New Jersey. He graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Medical School with numerous awards. He then completed residency in General Pediatrics and fellowship in Pediatric Rheumatology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. He then spent three years as a Pediatric Rheumatologist at Kaiser Permanente in Northern California and six years at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego. He was a highly-rated lecturer as Associate Professor at University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. In addition, he is actively involved in clinical research. He also regularly volunteered as a physician for Arthritis Foundation camps. Outside of medicine, he has a passion for oil painting, tennis, and spending time outdoors. Harsha Kotak has a Masters in Child Psychology, Development and Education. She has worked with Dr. Radhakrishna at her office since its inception in the early 1980’s with minimal staff; thus, has over 25 years of experience. Since then, she has managed the growth of the office in terms of space, resources, personnel, patients and finances. Harsha is a direct liaison with office Doctors, nurses, PAs, MAs, and administrative staff as well as outside clinical representatives to create an efficient day-to-day smooth operation and management. Harsha oversees appointments and scheduling, front desk inquiries and child admittance. She is trained in the most updated procedure coding for monitoring multiple terminals within the office via electronic Medical Record software, OFFICE PRACTICUM. Harsha is extremely personable and proactive in troubleshooting management issues at the office and from home during weekends.
Vidya Hangal is our Senior Accounts Manager at Piscataway location for over 27 Years. She brings a beautiful smile and great experience with her in assisting and solving many issues associated with billing for our families. She is a great artist and has decorated our office so beautifully for the admiration of all the people visiting our office. She is also the proud mother of a college-going son who has the first-hand experience of being a patient in our practice. She is a great team worker, and enjoys celebrating birthdays of all staff members here.
Nellie Hrapsky has been our Office Manager for more than 23 years. She has a charming personality, welcoming patients & families of all ages and helping them through their issues, whether sick or well, any insurance problems or personal issues. Her dedication to hard work, punctuality and knowledge about accounts has contributed a lot to the success of our practice. She is like a coconut, tough on the outside with soft interior according to her colleagues. Mother of 3 lovely children and grandmother of 2 handsome boys, she brings that personal motherly care with great zest & humor.
Daksha Benjamin is our Accounts Manager for our Piscataway Office for over 19 years. She is very meticulous, dedicated person who is a good team worker. Mother of two beautiful children, she has also experienced the joys and worries of being a parent our office. Well versed in several Indian Languages, she goes an extra mile to help the families with their billing issues. She also helps for the smooth flow of patients while she is at the reception.
Gita Gandhi has great experience serving at SPMC Mother/Baby Unit for 28 years & in our office for 23 years.
